Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain health, safety, security, and loss prevention policies, procedures, and programs across the property
- Promote a culture of safety awareness, accountability, and proactive risk management throughout the hotel
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Coordinate emergency response procedures, fire safety programs, evacuation drills, and crisis management plans
- Investigate accidents, incidents, security breaches, and loss prevention matters, ensuring appropriate reporting and corrective actions
- Monitor compliance with local regulations, company standards, and health and safety requirements
- Deliver training and awareness programs related to workplace safety, fire prevention, emergency response, and security procedures
- Work closely with Engineering, People & Culture, and operational departments to ensure safe working practices
- Support contractor and supplier compliance with hotel health and safety standards
- Maintain relationships with local authorities, emergency services, and regulatory bodies
- Monitor security systems, access control procedures, and loss prevention measures to protect hotel assets
- Champion Faena's commitment to regenerative tourism, ensuring operations contribute positively to the environment, local communities, and cultural preservation
Requirements
- Experience in health, safety, and sustainability management, preferably in hospitality
- Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards
- Strong risk assessment and incident investigation skills
- Ability to deliver training and awareness programs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health, Safety & Sustainability Manager to join our pre opening team.
- Reporting to the Hotel Manager, this role is responsible for leading the hotel's health, safety, and sustainability initiatives to ensure a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible operation.
- The successful candidate will champion a culture of wellbeing, risk management, and environmental stewardship while supporting Faena's commitment to regenerative tourism.
