Health Program Manager

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead health programs from strategy and design through implementation and evaluation.
• Develop program strategies, plans, budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
• Build partnerships with healthcare organizations, government entities, private-sector partners, and international organizations.
• Manage stakeholders and coordinate leadership meetings, committees, events, and communications.
• Conduct research and develop new health programs aligned with strategic priorities.
• Monitor performance using KPIs, metrics, data analysis, and reporting.
• Identify risks, issues, and compliance requirements and implement mitigation measures.
• Support public health governance, policy alignment, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop health-related training and knowledge-transfer initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement and evidence-based decision-making.

Mandatory Skills

• 12+ years of experience in health program, healthcare, or public health program management.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, public health, healthcare management, or a related field.
• PMP or project management certification, or equivalent project management experience.
• Strong program planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation experience.
• Strong stakeholder and partnership management experience.
• Healthcare or public health strategy and governance experience.
• Strong risk management, reporting, compliance, and business case development skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent English communication; Arabic is preferred.

Preferred Background

• Government, Ministry of Health, public health, healthcare organization, or international health organization experience.
• Experience managing large-scale health programs, budgets, partnerships, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Master’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, healthcare management, business, or a related field.
