- Our**Marsh Advisory Team** is seeking candidates for a **Health, Safety, and Environmental Consultant.**This role is located in **Qatar** .
- We will count on you to:
- Improve clients’ risk management through the delivery of tailored health, safety and environment consulting projects
- Review clients’ operations to identify and analyze risks to their employees, contractors, visitors and other stakeholders
- Develop comprehensive set of HSE documentation to support the embedding of HSE into client operations
- Undertake on-site visits to determine HSE capabilities, identify risks and areas for improvement and craft corrective action reports
- Undertake both in-person and on-line training of client employees in all areas of Health, safety and Environmental Management
- Prepare concise and clear reports and presentations
- Provide risk management advice and consultancy primarily on health, safety, and environmental risks
- Identify and develop relationships and opportunities internally and externally to ensure sustained growth for Marsh
- Work with key business leaders in delivering value added services to clients
- Develop and deliver propositions and solutions in line with client and market needs
- Develop professionally as both a Health, Safety, and Environment Professional and Consultant
- Grow your personal understanding and knowledge of Risk Management
- What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Professional HSE certifications such as
+ NEBOSH International Diploma
+ IOSH Membership
+ ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
- 5-15 years of working experience within construction, Oil & Gas, utilities, and heavy industries consulting
- Native‑level or C2 proficiency in English required for accurate nuance, tone, and legal/regulatory wording in client contracts and advisory materials
- Previous delivery of projects within the UK market, including managing UK-based suppliers, clients, or regulatory authorities, required
- Proven experience in a senior advisory or consultancy role
- Strong knowledge of international HSE standard and management systems
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary and high-risk projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- High level of report writing and presentation skills

- Experience in HSE consultancy delivering complex projects to major clients
- Experience working with clients in construction, Oil & Gas, utilities, and heavy industries consulting
- Ability to advise clients on compliance with local regulations, international standards, and industry best practices
- Extensive experience operating at executive and shareholder-facing level
- Deep expertise in ISO-based management systems (14001 and 45001) and regulatory engagement
- Considerable experience in managing consultancy teams, building out consultant capabilities, and driving change
- Recognized for creating scalable, audit-ready solutions that meet regulatory requirements, operational efficiency, and business growth.
- Ability to support environmental management initiatives including waste management, sustainability, and environmental impact mitigation
- Ability to deliver HSE training, workshops and awareness programs for management and site personnel
- Ability to work closely with senior management, explain complex issues, and prepare and deliver executive presentations
- Experience in the use of technology platforms to deliver solutions
