Responsibilities
- Make the guest feel at home and taken care of throughout their experience
- Set up / open and close the restaurant
- Explain daily specials / chef recommendations
- Take orders and punch them into the POS system
- Communicate order details to the kitchen staff
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- Regularly update customers on the status of their orders
- Handle complaints from clients
- Serve food and drinks
- Liaise with bartenders and runners to ensure smooth operations
- Take out empty plates, glasses and condiments after guests have finished
- Clean the restaurant and applicable operational equipment
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred
- Capability to perform repetitious duties
- Capability of working in a high pressured environment
- Dedication to customer satisfaction and service excellence
