- Define and execute Bybit's global social media strategy across X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms
- Translate complex crypto and fintech concepts into compelling, platform native content
- Build and maintain Bybit's social voice in alignment with Brand 6.0 guidelines
- Lead, mentor, and grow a global social media team
- Establish clear workflows, content brief processes, and approval protocols
- Build and own the content calendar
- Oversee influencer strategy from shortlisting to performance tracking
- Manage production agency relationship for high quality video content
- Own social media OKRs and present performance to leadership
- Collaborate with BU marketing teams and Strategy Office
- Coordinate with Legal and Compliance on influencer clearances and regulatory messaging
Requirements
- 4 8 years of social media experience
- At least 3 years in a leadership role managing a team
- Marketing background with campaign and audience journey thinking
- Proven track record of growing social accounts at scale for a global brand (1M+ followers preferred)
- Strong project management skills
- Experience with Sprinklr or equivalent enterprise social media management platform
- AI native mindset actively using AI tools
- Exceptional written and spoken English
- Experience managing influencer programs end to end
- Background working with executive communications
- Experience with rebranding or brand evolution at a global company
- Deep knowledge of crypto, Web3, or fintech

About the Role
- Bybit is looking for a Head of Social Media who is equal parts creative visionary and operational leader.
- You will own the global social strategy for one of the world's top crypto exchanges, lead a distributed team, and be the connective tissue between brand, product, community, and culture.
- You will inherit a team that is growing fast, working with external agencies, and navigating a global rebrand (Brand 6.0).
What You'll Own
- Define and execute Bybit's global social media strategy across X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Translate complex crypto and fintech concepts into compelling, platform native content.
- Build and maintain Bybit's social voice in alignment with Brand 6.0 guidelines.
- Develop channel/product specific strategies balancing global consistency with regional relevance.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a global social media team (currently ~4 6 members) plus manage agency relationships.
- Establish clear workflows, content brief processes, and approval protocols.
- Build and own the content calendar, ensuring alignment with campaigns, product launches, and executive communications.
- Implement SOPs for content creation, agency briefing, influencer collaboration, and crisis response.
- Partner with Creative team on campaign assets.
- Oversee influencer strategy from shortlisting to performance tracking.
- Manage production agency relationship for high quality video content.
- Own social media OKRs: follower growth, engagement, share of voice, sentiment, and new user acquisition.
What We're Looking For
- 4 8 years of social media experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a team.
- Marketing background — you think in campaigns, narratives, and audience journeys.
- Proven track record of growing social accounts at scale for a global brand (1M+ followers preferred).
- Strong project management skills — you can run multiple workstreams and manage agencies.
- Experience with Sprinklr or equivalent enterprise social media management platform.
- AI native mindset — you actively use AI tools in your workflow.
- Exceptional written and spoken English; additional languages (Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese) are a strong plus.
- Experience managing influencer programs end to end (nice to have).
- Background working with executive communications (nice to have).
- Experience with rebranding or brand evolution at a global company (nice to have).
- Deep knowledge of crypto, Web3, or fintech (nice to have).
