About the Role

- Lead all aspects of production across film, video, photography, digital, social media, and branded content projects
- Develop production strategies, workflows, and best practices to improve efficiency and quality
- Build and maintain a high performing production team, including producers, production managers, coordinators, and freelancers
- Oversee resource planning and allocation across multiple projects
- Supervise projects from pre production through post production and final delivery
- Ensure production schedules, budgets, and deliverables are effectively managed
- Review production plans, call sheets, crew requirements, and logistical arrangements
- Identify and mitigate production risks to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain oversight of studio, equipment, and production resources
- Develop and approve project budgets and cost estimates; monitor spending and profitability
- Negotiate rates and contracts with suppliers, crew, talent, studios, and vendors
- Recruit, mentor, and develop production staff and freelance talent
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media, Communications, Business, or related field
- Proven experience managing high value commercial, broadcast, digital, or branded content productions
- Strong understanding of pre production, production, post production, and content delivery workflows
- Experience managing production budgets, schedules, contracts, and teams
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Advanced project management and organizational abilities
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Strong understanding of production technology and industry best practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment

Role Overview
- The Head of Production is responsible for leading and managing all production operations across Wasl Channel. This role oversees the end to end delivery of media projects, ensuring productions are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest creative and technical standards.
Production Leadership
- Lead all aspects of production across film, video, photography, digital, social media, and branded content projects
- Develop production strategies, workflows, and best practices to improve efficiency and quality
- Build and maintain a high performing production team, including producers, production managers, coordinators, and freelancers
- Oversee resource planning and allocation across multiple projects
Project & Production Management

Requirements
