Job Purpose

Lead and govern the end-to-end Data & Reporting function for Handover & Completion.

Establish a digital ecosystem for accurate, real-time, insight-driven decision-making across the project lifecycle.

Own data strategy, governance, analytics, visualization, digital applications, and system integration in line with corporate digital standards.

Job Context and Challenges

Oversee a mega-project data environment containing more than 5 million records across multiple platforms.

Ensure a single source of truth for Handover & Completion data.

Integrate systems, data repositories, reporting tools, and contractor systems.

Drive digital transformation and automation across traditionally manual workflows.

Deliver executive dashboards and reporting under tight project timelines.

Enforce data governance, standardization, and compliance across stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

  • Define and lead the Data & Reporting Strategy for Handover & Completion.
  • Establish governance frameworks, standards, and quality controls across systems and stakeholders.
  • Oversee enterprise dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting packs.
  • Lead integration of completion databases, repositories, and enterprise systems.
  • Direct digital applications and automation tools to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Provide strategic insights and advanced analytics for performance and risk management.
  • Manage data architecture, pipelines, and system interfaces across internal and contractor platforms.
  • Drive reporting and handover data standardization across EPC contractors.
  • Build and develop a high-performing data and reporting team.
  • Champion digital innovation, automation, and AI-driven opportunities.
  • Ensure reporting deliverables comply with corporate, cybersecurity, and data management frameworks.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience across engineering, procurement, and construction phases within large-scale Oil & Gas commissioning projects.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, including oversight of service or vendor personnel.
  • Experience with Oil & Gas operators, contractors, or service companies.
  • Knowledge of project execution, engineering, operations, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and systems completion.
  • Proven experience in data strategy, governance, enterprise reporting, analytics, and digital transformation in project environments.

Technical Expertise

  • Advanced expertise in Power BI for enterprise dashboards, governance, and deployment.
  • Advanced expertise in data modelling, ETL processes, data warehousing, SQL, and large-scale database management.
  • Strong experience with system completion databases or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong experience with Data Lake and cloud-based architectures.
  • Strong experience with Power Apps, low-code platforms, automation tools, system integrations, and API-based architectures.

Leadership Skills

  • Translate data into executive-level insights and lead performance reporting.
  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams and develop team capability and succession plans.
  • Engage stakeholders at senior and executive levels.
  • Manage complex interfaces across contractors and functions.
  • Drive governance, quality, compliance, standardization, innovation, continuous improvement, and digital adoption.
