Job Title: Head of Finance / Group Financial Controller
Job Purpose
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of Group financial statements, including foreign subsidiary translation, ensuring full compliance with IFRS standards.
- Oversee the end-to-end finance function across the company and its subsidiaries, including financial reporting, budgeting, audit coordination, and daily accounting operations.
- Provide accurate and timely financial insights to support management and Board-level decision-making.

- Group Financial Consolidation & IFRS Compliance
- Prepare and manage Group financial consolidation across subsidiaries, associates, joint ventures, and investments.
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS standards and implement updates to new accounting regulations.
- Review and validate investment accounting, including fair valuation assessments.
- Deliver periodic consolidated reports within strict timelines.
- Support year-end audits through accurate financial reporting and documentation.
2. Financial Reporting & Subsidiary Oversight
- Review monthly and quarterly financial statements (Income Statement & Balance Sheet) of local and international subsidiaries.
- Ensure adherence to reporting timelines and compliance with IFRS standards.
- Provide consolidated management reports for senior leadership and Board reporting.
- Coordinate quarterly reporting submissions in line with stakeholder requirements.
- Act as a key advisor to subsidiaries on financial compliance and reporting standards.
3. Leadership of Finance Function
- Lead and supervise the finance team across core functions including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Budgeting.
- Review and approve journal entries, accounts payable transactions, and financial schedules.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across all reporting cycles.
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
- Oversee preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

- General Ledger & Chart of Accounts Management
- Maintain and enhance the Group’s Chart of Accounts (COA) to align with evolving reporting requirements.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures for the GL function.
- Manage Oracle Financials system, including updating accounting segments and supporting module enhancements.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in financial coding structures across the Group.
5. Audit & Compliance Management
- Liaise with external auditors for interim and annual audits.
- Review draft financial statements and ensure alignment with applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure timely issuance of audited financial statements.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies and audit authorities for compliance requirements.
- Support ongoing audit processes and address audit findings effectively.
Job Specifications Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Finance.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA (mandatory).
- IFRS certification or strong working knowledge of IFRS standards (preferred).
Work Experience
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in finance, with strong exposure to group consolidation and complex accounting environments.
- Experience in listed companies or multinational organizations is highly preferred.
- Industry exposure to FMCG, Food, or Agriculture sectors, preferably within GCC markets.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in financial consolidation and reporting.
- Proficiency in Oracle Financials and consolidation modules.
- Advanced skills in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of financial analysis, valuation, and ratio analysis.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR37,000.00 - QAR45,000.00 per month
