- Collaborate with General Manager to establish partnership with operational and commercial management
- Participate in formulation of business strategy, commercial reviews, and implementation of business plans

- Conduct data analysis using financial, statistical, and simulation modeling techniques
- Develop and implement evaluation metrics for business performance
- Develop annual budgets and oversee financial performance against budget
- Lead financial planning and forecasting, monitoring critical parameters
- Supervise financial reporting and generate ad hoc reports for senior managers
- Oversee financial accounting, control, reporting in accordance with IFRS
- Implement best practices in processes and procedures ensuring adherence to financial policies
- Liaise with Audit Committee and auditors to ensure compliance with statutory requirements
Requirements
- University graduate in Finance/Account
- Master’s degree in business/finance discipline preferred
- Recognized professional finance/accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CFA, etc.)
- At least 10 years’ experience in a Finance role with at least 5 years in a Managerial role
- Automotive industry experience essential
- Conversant with IFRS and regulatory financial reporting
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and ERP
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
- Experienced in dealing with banks and financial institutions
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English essential; Arabic communication ability preferred

Job Purpose
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager to establish a genuine and dynamic partnership with both operational and commercial management.
- Offer immediate support and analysis, serving as a trusted advisor to enhance decision making.
- Participate in the formulation of business strategy, conduct commercial reviews, and implement business plans and associated strategies.
- Take charge of commercial and financial operations, ensuring adherence to rules and regulations and financial policies while considering budgetary constraints.
Business Partnering and Decision Support
- Cultivate and sustain partnerships while fostering robust relationships with business unit leaders and their teams.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and leadership to establish new business projects in alignment with the company's strategic plan.
- Conduct data analysis using suitable financial, statistical, and simulation modeling techniques, interpreting results accurately to support decision making.
- Develop and implement essential evaluation metrics for assessing business performance across all functions.
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop annual budgets and oversee financial performance against the budget, providing the business with insights into expected costs and revenues.
- Take the lead in financial planning and forecasting, including monitoring critical internal and external parameters.
- Supervise financial reporting to ensure timely scheduled reviews and generate ad hoc reports for senior managers as needed.
- Monitor the performance management activities of the team by establishing short term and/or long term objectives.
Accounting and Financial Reporting
- Oversee and direct financial accounting, control, reporting, and administrative functions, adhering to Company guidelines in accordance with IFRS.
- Implement and optimize best practices in processes and procedures, ensuring adherence to all financial policies, processes, and internal control procedures.
Controls and Compliance
- Liaise with the Audit Committee and other auditors to ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements and standards.
Qualifications
- University graduate in Finance/Account
- A master’s degree in a business/finance discipline would be an added advantage.
- Should possess a recognized professional finance/accounting qualification, CA, CPA, CFA, etc.
Experience
- At least 10 years’ experience in a Finance role with at least 5 years of experience in Managerial role
- Automotive industry experience is essential for the role.
Knowledge & Skills
- Conversant and up to date with regulatory financial reporting & accounting standards, policies, procedures and regulations in line with IFRS
- Advanced knowledge in the use of MS Office applications and ERP
- Exceptional skills in analysis and problem solving
- Experienced in dealing with banks and financial institutions
- A good negotiator with strong interpersonal skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. The ability to communicate in Arabic would be an added advantage
