Responsibilities
- Govern the Ministry’s assets and properties and oversee warehouse operations, ensuring proper registration, transfer, utilization, and disposal of assets in accordance with UAE laws and internal procedures
- Develop and implement an integrated asset and property management strategy aligned with regulatory requirements and operational objectives
- Oversee and coordinate asset related committees, including inventory, inspection, and disposal committees
- Monitor and validate receipt of goods and materials into Ministry warehouses, ensuring verification against purchase orders and contracts
- Manage identification, classification, and disposal of damaged or obsolete items
- Ensure security, safety, and integrity of warehouse operations and maintain accurate inventory records
- Process and approve requests for issuance of stored items, ensuring compliance with procedures
- Conduct regular inventory audits and stock counts, and prepare consolidated monthly reports
- Prepare comprehensive periodic reports on asset and warehouse operations, highlighting stock levels, movements, variances, risks, and compliance
- Ensure continuous improvement of asset management processes, systems, and controls
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Accounting, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in asset management, inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain management, or facilities related asset governance
- Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role overseeing asset management systems, warehouses, or multi site inventory operations
- Proven experience in managing asset lifecycle processes including asset registration, tagging, valuation, transfer, maintenance tracking, and disposal
- Demonstrated experience in preparing reports, dashboards, and KPIs for senior management decision making

Job Summary
- Lead and manage the Ministry’s asset and property portfolio, including warehouses and storage operations, ensuring effective governance, utilization, control, and lifecycle management of all assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Govern the Ministry’s assets and properties and oversee warehouse operations, ensuring proper registration, transfer, utilization, and disposal of assets in accordance with applicable UAE laws, regulations, and internal procedures.
- Develop and implement an integrated asset and property management strategy aligned with regulatory requirements, approved standards, and the Ministry’s operational objectives.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of asset related committees, including annual and surprise inventory committees, inspection committees, and disposal committees for furniture, equipment, devices, and cultural assets, ensuring accurate documentation of asset condition and usability.
- Monitor and validate the receipt of goods and materials into Ministry warehouses, ensuring physical and quantitative verification against purchase orders, contracts, and delivery documentation.
- Manage the identification, classification, and disposal of damaged, obsolete, or non functional items, ensuring proper handling and preventing unnecessary accumulation within warehouse facilities.
- Ensure the security, safety, and integrity of warehouse operations, while maintaining accurate and up to date records of all inventory transactions, including issuance, receipt, and internal distribution.
- Process and approve requests from organizational units for the issuance of stored items, ensuring compliance with established procedures, controls, and operational requirements.
- Conduct regular and periodic inventory audits and stock counts across all warehouses, and prepare consolidated monthly reports for submission to senior management.
- Prepare comprehensive periodic reports on asset and warehouse operations, highlighting stock levels, movements, variances, risks, and compliance status in line with the approved reporting framework.
- Ensure continuous improvement of asset management processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, transparency, accountability, and compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in asset management, inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain management, or facilities related asset governance.
- Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role overseeing asset management systems, warehouses, or multi site inventory operations.
- Proven experience in managing asset lifecycle processes including asset registration, tagging, valuation, transfer, maintenance tracking, and disposal.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing reports, dashboards, and KPIs for senior management decision making.
Preferred Certifications
- Certified Asset Management Professional or similar certification (e.g., IAM Certificate/Diploma in Asset Management).
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD).
- Certified Inventory/Stores Management qualification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is an advantage.
