About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support the nursing team.
• Maintain patient safety, nursing care, and clinical practice standards.
• Align nursing practices and documentation with DHA requirements and regulations.
• Develop and maintain nursing policies, procedures, protocols, and clinical checklists.
• Ensure complete, accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation.
• Prepare the nursing department for DHA inspections and audits.
• Monitor infection control, medication management, patient identification, incident reporting, and clinical safety compliance.
• Conduct nursing audits and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain staff files, competency records, training documentation, and nursing credentials.
• Coordinate orientation, competency assessments, training, and continuing professional development.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship and work with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
• Monitor specialized extracorporeal treatments and participate in investigations, corrective actions, and quality improvement.

Leadership and Regulatory Requirements

• Experience in a Head Nurse, Charge Nurse, Senior Nurse, or Nurse Supervisor role is preferred.
• Experience with DHA regulatory requirements and healthcare documentation.
• Ability to prepare for regulatory inspections and audits.
• Strong clinical governance, quality assurance, and risk management knowledge.
• Ability to identify documentation or clinical practice gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Strong communication, organization, detail orientation, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Clinical Background

• Strong ICU nursing experience is preferred.
• Experience in dialysis, nephrology, apheresis, hemoperfusion, plasma exchange, toxopheresis, or extracorporeal blood purification is advantageous.
• Experience caring for medically complex patients.
• Knowledge of patient monitoring, vascular access, infection control, emergency response, and clinical documentation.
• Experience with specialized extracorporeal treatment equipment is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Valid DHA nursing license or eligibility to practice in Dubai.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Relevant clinical nursing experience with strong ICU experience preferred.
• Previous nursing leadership experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of healthcare compliance and clinical documentation.

Pay

• AED 9,999 to AED 10,000 per month.
