About the Job
- An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Mixologist to join Jumeirah Al Qasr from September 2026 onwards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily bar operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, operational excellence, and full compliance with hygiene, safety, and HACCP requirements.
- Create and develop innovative cocktails, beverage offerings, and seasonal concepts that enhance the guest experience and drive revenue growth.
- Mentor, train, and inspire the bar team, fostering creativity, technical expertise, and a culture of continuous development.
- Collaborate with operational leadership to optimize beverage menus, analyze sales performance, and identify opportunities to improve product offerings and profitability.
- Maintain high standards of product knowledge, beverage quality, inventory control, and bar presentation to ensure a world class guest experience.
- Represent the brand through industry engagement, competitions, and innovation initiatives while continuously exploring new trends, techniques, and products.
About You
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or a related field is considered an advantage.
- 3–5 years of experience in bartending or mixology within a luxury hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail creation, beverage preparation, premium spirits, wine, and bar operations.
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and team development skills, with the ability to train and inspire colleagues in a fast paced environment.
