Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Fixed Assets and Inventory Accounting function
- Ensure accurate capitalization, depreciation, disposal, and reconciliation of fixed assets in compliance with IFRS and organizational policies
- Oversee inventory accounting processes, stock valuation, and inventory controls
- Ensure timely month end and year end financial closing activities related to fixed assets and inventory
- Maintain compliance with IFRS, internal controls, audit requirements, and statutory regulations
- Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, engineering, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate asset and inventory records
- Drive process improvements and enhance financial reporting through ERP systems
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while ensuring effective resource planning and performance management
Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- At least 10 years in a managerial role overseeing Fixed Assets and Inventory Accounting
- Minimum 10 years of experience within the Healthcare/Hospital sector
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Government/Public Sector
- At least 5 years of accounting experience in Qatar
- Proven experience managing large scale fixed asset registers, inventory accounting, capital projects, and financial controls
- Strong hands on experience with Oracle E Business Suite (EBS)
- Thorough understanding of IFRS, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and people management capabilities

Technical Skills
- Strong hands on experience with Oracle E Business Suite (EBS).
- Working knowledge of Oracle ERP, SAP, or other enterprise resource planning systems.
- Thorough understanding of IFRS, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
