About the Job

  • An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Chef to join Jumeirah Al Qasr from September 2026 onwards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead all kitchen operations, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional food quality, creativity, and presentation standards.
  • Develop innovative menus and culinary concepts that reflect market trends, guest preferences, and the restaurant’s vision.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop kitchen teams through effective training, coaching, and performance management initiatives.
  • Oversee food purchasing, inventory management, cost control, and waste reduction strategies to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health & safety standards across all kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with restaurant leadership and key stakeholders to drive business objectives, enhance guest experiences, and continuously improve culinary offerings.

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Catering, Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of culinary experience within five star hotels and high end restaurant environments.
  • Strong expertise in kitchen operations, menu development, food quality standards, and cost management.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, mentor, and develop high performing culinary teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene and luxury hospitality service expectations.
