We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate
Head Bartender
to lead our beverage operations and elevate the guest experience through innovative mocktails, specialty beverages, and exceptional service in line with FAENA s luxury hospitality and Forbes standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the bar team to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality beverage service.
- Oversee daily beverage operations, ensuring consistency in presentation, taste, and luxury service standards.
- Create and execute innovative mocktail menus, signature beverages, wellness drinks, and specialty beverage experiences.
- Ensure all beverages are prepared according to standardised recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Train, mentor, and motivate bartenders and beverage team members to maintain excellence in product knowledge and guest service.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and support cost-control initiatives to minimise waste.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and operational readiness of bar and beverage preparation areas.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety regulations at all times.
- Manage POS accuracy, cash handling procedures, and end-of-shift reporting where applicable.
- Engage with guests to provide personalised and memorable beverage experiences.
- Collaborate with culinary, restaurant, and leadership teams to support promotions, activations, and special events.
- Conduct regular quality checks, tastings, and beverage evaluations to maintain exceptional standards.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of beverage stations before and after service periods.
- Uphold FAENA grooming, presentation, and luxury hospitality standards at all times.
- Ensure full compliance with Forbes standards, maintaining exceptional service quality, attention to detail, and operational excellence at all times.
