Role Overview
Own the entire beverage operation at Chiya’s Yas Mall Food Hall location.
Lead and develop the bar team while maintaining consistent quality, hygiene and service standards.
Manage coffee, smoothies, juices and other beverages, with hands-on operational involvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily bar operations and manage opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain beverage quality and recipe consistency across coffee, smoothies, juices and other drinks.
- Train, coach, evaluate and onboard bar team members.
- Monitor stock, ordering, wastage, breakages and beverage costs.
- Report equipment issues and coordinate maintenance.
- Develop and test new drinks and seasonal specials.
- Manage the bar team rota when required.
- Collaborate with management and kitchen teams to improve service and efficiency.
- Support the wider team during busy periods.
What Chiya Is Looking For
- Previous experience as a Senior Barista, Head Barista or Bar Supervisor.
- Strong coffee knowledge and practical barista skills.
- Experience with commercial espresso machines and grinder calibration.
- Experience preparing smoothies, juices and other non-coffee beverages.
- Previous experience training or supervising a team.
- Good understanding of hygiene and food safety.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Reliable, energetic and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to lead by example and remain hands-on.
Employment and Compensation
- Employment type is full-time.
- Salary is AED 3,500 to AED 4,000 per month.
- Two years of barista experience is preferred.

- Work location is in person at Yas Mall Food Hall, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
