The Chef de Partie owns an assigned kitchen section from mise en place through service and closing.
The role includes open-fire cooking, grilling, and modern Japanese-influenced techniques.
Employment and pay
- The position is full-time.
- Salary is AED 3,500 to AED 4,500 per month.
Key responsibilities
- Take responsibility for an assigned kitchen section and prepare food to Chiya recipes and standards.
- Execute open-fire cooking, grilling, and other techniques while maintaining taste, portioning, and presentation.
- Complete mise en place, monitor stock, reduce waste, and maintain proper food storage and rotation.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, organisation, HACCP compliance, and food safety procedures.
- Support and train Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs and communicate effectively during service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties and support menu development, testing, and recipe improvements when required.
