Job Description
- Greet guests and assist with check-in and check-out, including billing and payment processing.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Manage reservations and cancellations, modify bookings, and use the hotel booking system.
- Relay messages, coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance, and promote upgrades and special packages.
- Maintain financial records, guest documentation, and supplies inventory.
- Follow safety and security procedures and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a hospitality-related degree is a plus.
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite is listed.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, conflict-resolution, and attention-to-detail skills are required.
- Computer proficiency, basic math skills for transactions, and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays are required.
Work Requirements
- The Guest Service Agent role is based at the ibis Styles Dubai Dragon Mart Hotel in Dubai.
- Candidates must be eligible to live and work in Dubai; selected candidates may receive visa and flight support.
