About the Team

  • UAE Grocery Operations team partners with leading grocery retailers.
  • Operates across a network of picker sites with trained agency pickers.
  • Mission: accurate, fast, frictionless orders.

Key Responsibilities Site & Team Operations

  • Manage day to day picker site operations across all active UAE grocery partner locations.
  • Directly manage Site Leads; indirectly oversee Team Leads and Fulfilment Associates.
  • Conduct regular field visits to audit execution quality, picker behaviour, partner compliance.
  • Own full order lifecycle: pick accuracy, pack quality, readiness time, handoff to riders.
  • Ensure operational readiness for new site launches.
  • Lead escalation management for SLA breaches, operational failures, partner incidents.

Key Responsibilities Performance Management & Data

  • Own core operational KPIs: order accuracy, item unavailability, cancellation rate, late orders, rejection rate.
  • Author weekly business review commentary with metric movements and partner level examples.
  • Build and maintain dashboards for picker productivity, per site KPI performance, trend analysis.
  • Run structured root cause analysis on metric dips.
  • Translate field data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Monitor order accuracy, item availability, picker utilisation metrics continuously.

Key Responsibilities Agency & Vendor Management

  • Serve as primary operational contact for third party staffing agencies.
  • Oversee agency headcount planning, shift scheduling, compliance.
  • Manage ongoing agency performance reviews.
  • Support contract renewal discussions with operational data and recommendations.
  • Work with agencies to implement structured picker onboarding and training.
  • Ensure agencies meet audit readiness standards.

Key Responsibilities Reporting Cadence

  • Own weekly business review reporting cycle end to end.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly business review inputs for senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain structured operational log of incidents and corrective actions.
  • Lead partner performance conversations with grocery brands at site level.

Key Responsibilities Project Ownership

  • Own and drive operational improvement projects end to end.
  • Build structured business cases and project documents for new operational models.
