Job Description

  • We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles & Fairmont Doha as our new Government & Immigration Relations Admin.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring efficient coordination and compliance with all government, immigration, and labor related processes.
  • Serving as a key liaison between the hotels and relevant government authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process all government, immigration, labor, and municipality related transactions in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring full compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate visa applications, renewals, cancellations, residency permits, work permits, and other official documentation for colleagues across Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with government authorities, maintaining positive and professional relationships to facilitate efficient processing of administrative requirements.
  • Monitor the validity of employee documents, licenses, permits, and official records, ensuring renewals are completed before expiration dates.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all government related documentation, correspondence, and transactions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes by coordinating all required immigration and government procedures for new and departing colleagues.
  • Stay informed of changes in labor laws, immigration regulations, and government procedures, providing guidance and updates to relevant departments as required.
  • Prepare reports, track application statuses, and maintain documentation logs to support operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with People & Culture, Finance, and operational departments to ensure smooth administration of colleague related government processes.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Government Relations, Immigration Services, Human Resources Administration, or a similar role within the hospitality industry or a large scale organization.
  • Strong knowledge of Qatar labor laws, immigration procedures, visa regulations, and government administration processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with government authorities, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with HRIS or government related online portals is an advantage.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are highly desirable.
  • A proactive, service oriented approach with a commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team environment.
