Job Objective

  • Day to day Public Relations work assigned by the Assistant PR Manager includes all Ministry of Labour and Chamber of Commerce related matters.
  • Typing of all PR & GR Related documents.
  • Advise PRO on all Emigration and labour related developments, updated.
  • Advise PRO on employment related standards/procedure such as minimum & maximum rights of employees, employer’s responsibility.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Represent and transact with all government departments to procure & renew licenses, approvals, certificates, attestation, authentication, etc.
  • Typing all PR & GR related documents.
  • Assist in resolving any issues related to government policies.
  • Dealing with Ministry of Health, Embassy related works, Traffic Department, Customs Department, Civil Defense, Labour Department, Municipality, Chamber of Commerce, Economic Department.
  • Trade Licenses, Commercial Registration Certificates, Chamber of Commerce Membership Certificates, Civil Defence Certificates, Environmental Agency Certificates, Industrial License.
  • All Immigration related matters, new, renewal and cancellation.
  • Safe handling of employee passports, labour cards, labour contracts, EID, etc.
  • Assists employees in obtaining letters for Department of Immigration, Traffic Department, embassies or any government agencies.
  • Coordinates MOL Inspection and reports to the Management and HR Department about the results.
  • Updates the SWAN PR Request System and makes effective use of the system Updating PR SharePoint system.

Ability & Skills

  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Good influencing skills.
  • Spoken and written Arabic is a must.
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
  • Valid Driving License.
  • Solid background in UAE Labour law, most importantly on Immigration rules and regulations.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to successfully work with local government agencies.
  • Great organisational skills.
  • Excellent computer skills and IT knowledge of all Government official smart apps, e dirham, e Government applications and other Electronic Funds Transfer.
  • Essential requirements for knowledge include using: Tasheel, e dirham, Fawri, Attijari, card reader (electronic signature), & Ministry of Interior website.
  • Must have experience and know how in the portal system usage (EDNRD and EFORM).
  • Must be proficient in a wide range of visa processing.

Experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a diversified group of companies.

Academic Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree.

Additional Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of PRO function, UAE Labour Laws, Immigration procedures & rules in the UAE.
