Responsibilities
- Lead the global relationship with assigned customer account(s)
- Drive business retention, growth, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer and Expeditors objectives
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth, product diversification, and geographic expansion
- Build relationships across multiple levels of the customer organization, including executive stakeholders
- Understand customer supply chain strategies, business priorities, and operational challenges
- Coordinate global collaboration across product, geography, sales, operations, and leadership teams
- Lead customer business reviews and performance discussions using KPIs and business intelligence
- Monitor account performance and ensure service expectations and commitments are achieved
- Identify risks, service gaps, and improvement opportunities while coordinating corrective actions
- Develop value added solutions utilizing Expeditors’ products, services, and technology
- Support customer bids, strategic initiatives, and account expansion opportunities
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent business qualification
- Minimum 5 years of Expeditors or industry experience
- Proven experience in business development and strategic account management
- Strong knowledge of Expeditors products, services, systems, and operating structure
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence across a global matrix organization
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven project management capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Ability to achieve KPI objectives and deliver measurable business results

Reporting Structure
- The Global Account Manager reports directly to the Regional GAM Director, with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Corporate Sponsor.
