The GIS Testing Analyst - Senior Associate specializes in Maximo applications and technology consulting.
The role analyzes client needs and delivers implementation, training, support, and operational improvement solutions.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and design enterprise GIS custom applications and data integration solutions.
- Tailor GIS software and tools to meet specific client needs and add functionality as required.
- Apply geospatial principles and engineering studies to create detailed functional designs.
- Develop spatial algorithms for data management, executive-level reporting, and visualization.
- Apply advanced problem-solving to GIS and client challenges.
Core Requirements
- BE, BTech, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience.
- Oral and written proficiency in English is required.
- Demonstrated understanding of enterprise GIS administration and basic project management concepts.
- Two to four years of experience with Esri ArcGIS software, including Enterprise, Desktop, Server, ArcGIS Pro, and StoryMaps.
- Ability to work independently, take direction, and proactively manage time and resources to maintain project schedules.
- Experience developing or testing GIS data routines to identify data quality and accuracy issues.
- Ability to create project documentation, reports, agendas, and presentations using Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Additional Qualifications
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Strong problem-solving and written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Capacity to develop or calculate performance metrics to demonstrate status.
- Experience in the utilities domain is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Esri Utility Network, Agile methodology, and Jira is advantageous.
- Advanced Excel, ArcGIS REST Services, Python, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, geodatabase management, and ArcGIS Server configuration experience are advantageous.
- Programming experience with ArcGIS JavaScript or REST APIs, ArcPy, or ArcObjects is advantageous.
- Knowledge of GE Smallworld, G/Tech, or IQGeo is advantageous.
- Knowledge of database design and PL/SQL query, stored procedure, and trigger development is advantageous.
