Responsibilities
- Lead geospatial governance and Spatial Data Infrastructure initiatives for government entities
- Develop and implement enterprise geospatial strategies and governance frameworks
- Provide advisory and technical consultancy on GIS, data governance, and interoperability
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, governance committees, and cross entity collaboration
- Develop policies, procedures, guidelines, and governance documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Information Management, Data Management, Public Policy, or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in geospatial governance, SDI, enterprise GIS, or government advisory roles
- Strong understanding of geospatial governance frameworks, policies, standards, metadata, data quality management, and interoperability
- Experience developing and implementing Spatial Data Infrastructure programmes and enterprise geospatial strategies
- Experience providing advisory and technical consultancy services to government entities or large organisations
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, geospatial standards, and enterprise architecture
- Experience facilitating stakeholder engagement, governance committees, and cross entity collaboration
- Ability to develop policies, procedures, guidelines, and governance documentation
- Excellent communication, presentation, report writing, and stakeholder management skills
