About the Role
We are looking for a skilled BYD Technician to join our Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility Aftersales team in the UAE. The role involves carrying out periodic maintenance, diagnostics, and general repairs on BYD vehicles while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Carry out periodic maintenance, diagnostics, and general repair work on BYD vehicles
- Perform repairs in line with EV safety standards, workshop processes, and manufacturer guidelines
- Ensure work is completed right the first time and in line with Fix It Right standards
- Conduct accurate vehicle checks and support Electronic Vehicle Check reporting
- Follow health, safety, and 5S workshop standards at all times
- Achieve productivity, sold hours, and utilization targets set by the business
- Communicate clearly with team members, job controllers, and supervisors on repair progress and technical support needed
- Maintain a clean, professional, and organized working environment
Requirements
- Diploma, technical certification, ITI, NCVT certificate, ITC, or equivalent technical qualification
- 2 to 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, Diagnostic Technician, or General Repair Technician
- Experience in periodic maintenance, diagnostics, and vehicle repair
- Previous experience with electric vehicles or hybrid vehicles is an advantage
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
- Strong technical and mechanical skills
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Good communication skills in English
- High attention to safety, quality, and detail
- Ability to work well in a multicultural team environment
