Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager – Finance to lead the organization’s financial planning, reporting, compliance, treasury, and risk management functions.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving financial stability, profitability, and long-term business growth.
Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Prepare financial and management reports for senior leadership
- Drive budget preparation, quarterly reviews, and financial forecasting cycles
- Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and insights
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations
- Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders
- Ensure audit findings and recommendations are effectively implemented
Financial Control & Risk Management
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and governance frameworks
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation measures
- Monitor financial performance, variances, and operational efficiency
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning
- Oversee banking relationships and funding activities
- Optimize capital structure and cost management initiatives
Cost Management & Profitability
- Analyze operational costs and recommend efficiency improvements
- Support pricing strategies and profitability enhancement initiatives
- Provide financial insights for business expansion and investment decisions
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
- Set KPIs and ensure high team performance and accountability
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
Business Partnering
- Partner with department heads to support operational and strategic decisions
- Support mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, or expansion initiatives where applicable
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- MBA is preferred
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is highly preferred
- 10–15+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles
- Strong understanding of financial management, accounting standards, and compliance regulations
- Experience in manufacturing or regulated industries is preferred
