General Accountant

Role Overview

Accounting Responsibilities

• Monitor client and vendor accounts, conduct reconciliations, and manage periodic adjustments and entries.
• Record and track invoices, expenses, and reimbursements.
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations and outstanding accounts.
• Assist with regular financial and administrative reports.
• Monitor expenses, contracts, loans, and entitlements.
• Support VAT report preparation and related accounting requirements.
• Use ERP and CRM systems to record and track financial transactions and data.
• Complete monthly account closures and verify document and entry completeness.
• Prepare documents and data for internal and external audits.
• Perform other accounting tasks related to the nature of the work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, entries, adjustments, and financial statements.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred, and familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and basic reports.
• Good understanding of VAT in the Saudi Arabian context.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and accounting variances.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle work pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good proficiency in English.
