Overview
We are looking for a skilled Gas / Elevator Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, safety, and compliance of gas distribution and vertical transportation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage LPG & natural gas systems, elevators, escalators, and vertical transportation systems
- Monitor contractor performance, SLA/KPI compliance, and preventive maintenance schedules
- Ensure compliance with QCDD, WOQOD, and safety regulations
- Handle emergency response for gas leaks, elevator entrapments, and system failures
- Maintain records, inspections, testing, and compliance documentation through CAFM/CMMS systems
- Support procurement, technical evaluations, spare parts planning, and lifecycle management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in Facility Management / Real Estate preferred
- Strong knowledge of gas systems, elevators, safety systems, and preventive maintenance
- Proficiency in MS Office & CMMS/CAFM systems
- Fluent in English (Arabic preferred)
Preferred Certifications
- NEBOSH or equivalent HSE certification
- Elevator maintenance/safety certification
- Gas systems safety certification
