A well-established international law firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced career receptionist to provide front-of-house service, manage the switchboard, and support office operations.

Responsibilities
- Operate the main telephone switchboard; answer and transfer incoming calls
- Take and deliver messages accurately, promptly, and professionally
- Update and check the firm's general voicemail box daily
- Reserve meeting rooms in Outlook and maintain the diary for all bookings
- Ensure meeting rooms are fully stocked and pantry items are available
- Greet and welcome clients in a professional and friendly manner, offer refreshments
- Maintain the reception area, including plants, floral arrangements, TV, magazines, and general maintenance
- Assist IT with preparation of AV equipment and uploading of presentations
- Update CRM (Interaction) as and when required
- Maintain an operations manual for reception
- Book and receive couriers
- Scan documents, add to and maintain files
Requirements
- Experience as a career receptionist in a professional services environment
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Willingness to work outside contracted hours when requested
- Not a job hopper; happy to stay in reception role long term

Job Overview
- Our client, a well established international law firm, is wishing to recruit an experienced 'career receptionist' to join their Dubai office.
- Your general responsibilities will be to provide efficient and effective front of house service to all clients, either face to face or via the telephone.
- You should enjoy working in a dynamic environment and be able to work autonomously as well as within a larger team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operating the main telephone switchboard; answering and transferring incoming calls.
- Taking and delivering messages accurately, promptly, and in a professional manner.
- Updating and checking the firm's general voicemail box every day.
- Reserving meeting rooms in Outlook and maintaining the diary for all bookings.
- Ensuring the meeting room is fully stocked at all times and pantry items are available.
- Ensuring that clients are offered refreshments as well as greeted and welcomed in a professional and friendly manner.
- Maintaining the reception area, including plants, floral arrangements, TV, magazines, and general maintenance.
