Role Overview
- The Service Center Agent works in a central area, receiving all calls from outside the hotel and coordinating internal calls.
- Must ensure all tasks are procedurally correct, timely, and of consistent quality.
- First impression of the hotel through personal presentation, telephone manner, and guest service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act quickly and efficiently on guest requests and instructions from supervisor.
- Transfer calls to the right person and introduce the person on line before hanging off.
- Know all telephone extensions of the hotel by heart.
- Respect privacy and confidentiality of guest information.
- Perform wake up calls at exact time according to procedure.
- Record guest messages carefully and ensure guest receives them.
- Answer all phone calls within 3 rings.
- Maintain good knowledge of hotel guests, especially VIPs.
- Ensure Service Centre Room is perfectly tidy at all times.
- Know hotel outlets, menus, daily dishes, and Room service menu.
- Record Room Service orders accurately and follow up on timely delivery.
- Answer housekeeping requests and ensure follow up.
Qualifications
- Russian language proficiency required.
- Previous experience in a hotel front office or service center preferred.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of hotel security procedures.
