Role Overview
The Front Desk Agent reports to the Front Office Manager.
The role provides guest-facing front office service and supports hotel check-in, check-out, payments, and guest requests.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests.
- Process check-ins, confirm reservations, coordinate room assignments, and issue and activate room keys.
- Handle all payment types, including cash, checks, debit, credit, and room charges.
- Process check-outs and resolve late or disputed charges while following service standards.
- Maintain daily transaction and cash-handling records, including currency exchange and float balancing.
- Handle guest requests, questions, and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Promote a professional team environment and follow department policies and service standards.
- Perform other tasks assigned by management and uphold high customer service standards.
