Role Overview
The Forward Deployed Engineer works across Sales, Product, R&D, and Implementation teams.
The role stands up the product on customer data, proves value in active deals, and prototypes solutions when existing product capabilities are insufficient.
The engineer owns technical outcomes from discovery through production adoption.
Core Responsibilities
- Work with Solutions Consultants and Account Executives on strategic accounts and important new opportunities.
- Own discovery, scoping, architecture, implementation, evaluation, productionization, adoption, and handoff.
- Build, deploy, and evaluate customer solutions while measuring adoption, workflow impact, reliability, and time-to-value.
- Prototype quickly for deal validation and engineer deliberately for production security, reliability, observability, maintainability, and integration.
- Partner with Product and R&D to turn validated customer patterns into roadmap investments, reusable components, and platform improvements.
