Role Description
The Forward Deployed Engineer, Agentic Platform is a full-time remote role implementing and customizing Cruq AI’s agent platform for customers.
The role integrates client systems, builds backend services, and configures AI agents for workflows including finance, healthcare, HR, and customer service.
The engineer works with customer stakeholders to understand processes, translate them into technical solutions, and improve performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Implement and customize the agent platform for customers.
- Integrate the platform with client systems and build backend services.
- Configure AI agents for specific business workflows.
- Gather customer requirements and translate business processes into technical solutions.
- Diagnose production issues and optimize system performance.
- Contribute to internal tooling and documentation for deployment and monitoring of agentic workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong Computer Science foundation, including algorithms, data structures, and system design.
- Backend web development experience and experience building scalable APIs and microservices.
- Software development and programming proficiency in one or more modern languages, including Python, TypeScript, Go, or Java.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and best practices.
- Experience integrating distributed systems with databases, queues, and third-party APIs.
- Customer or stakeholder experience gathering requirements and delivering technical solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and Docker or Kubernetes is specified as relevant experience.
- Knowledge of AI/ML or agentic workflows is relevant to the role.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills for remote work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
