Role Description
The FDE 3 is a full-time, remote role focused on designing, building, and optimizing production-grade features for an AI agent platform.
The role includes backend or full-stack services, AI model and data pipeline integration, and work on reliability, scalability, and security.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, ML engineers, and developers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Write clean, tested code, troubleshoot production issues, and improve performance and observability.
- Document technical designs and APIs.
- Mentor junior team members, promote engineering best practices, and refine development workflows and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong software engineering skills in one or more modern programming languages, such as Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, or Java.
- Experience building production services or APIs and developing backend platforms, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency with databases, caching systems, message queues, or event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of AI/ML integration, model APIs, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic workflows.
- Comfort with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in remote, cross-functional teams and communicate clearly in writing and speech.
- Experience with enterprise software, workflow automation, or listed industry domains is beneficial.
