- Conduct shift briefings in absence of Manager to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
- Endeavour to resolve all complaints during shift and log them for follow up
- Supervise cash handling and banking procedures
- Prepare daily banking and cash flow reports
- Establish and instruct staff in cash security procedures
- Deal with irregular payments
- Supervise maintenance of service equipment
- Monitor standards of guest facilities and services
- Control stock and monitor security procedures
- Assist with menu and wine list creation
- Supervise functions
- Supervise outlet service
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the same position
- Familiar with operation and application of hotel's computer/data processing system
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills
- Good communication and customer contact skills
- Service oriented with an eye for details
- Ability to work well in stressful & high pressure situations
- A team player & builder
- A motivator & self starter
- Well presented and professionally groomed at all times
