About the Role

Responsibilities
- Analyse testing reports using OTDR/LSPM testing equipment to ensure results are within budget for fixed fibre services and 5G.
- Coordinate with technology teams for operational acceptance of new buildings/towers/villas and create technical inventory reports.
- Monitor splitter port utilization per building and request expansion as needed.
- Upload and track fixed line inventory including routers and fibre patch cords.
- Call customers for appointment booking and monitor SLAs across field vendors.
- Track order failures and follow up with technology teams to ensure end to end fulfilment within 48 hours.
- Provide back office support to field team to resolve technical issues during activation.
- Generate daily reports and leverage MS Office tools to provide insights for operational enhancement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's / Engineering degree in telecommunications or equivalent
- 5 years of relevant experience in service or telecommunication industry
- Advance knowledge in Fixed Fibre Services (FTTX)
- Certification in MS Office tools like Power BI, Power Automate
- Excellent communication skills in English/Arabic

Job Description
- Key accountabilities and decision ownership for Fixed Installation Desk Advisor role.
Key Accountabilities
- Analyse testing reports using OTDR/LSPM testing equipment to check results against budget for fixed fibre services and 5G.
- Coordinate with technology teams for operational acceptance of newly declared ready for connect buildings/towers/villas.
- Create technical inventory report required to connect new customers.
- Engage with Commercial and Business team to ensure ready to connect buildings are published correctly on website.
- Monitor number of splitter ports per building and request expansion based on utilization.
- Understand technical field challenges to connect customers within given SLA.
- Upload and track fixed line inventory (ONT, CPE, STB, fibre patch cords).
- Call customers for appointment booking and monitor SLAs across multiple field vendors.
- Track order failures and follow up with technology teams for end to end fulfilment within 48 hours.
- Manual disconnection of QNBN links based on customer disconnection request.
- Engage with relevant parties to get Kahramaa IDs for eligible apartments and villas.
- Own and maintain field service experience by providing training and ensuring field agents have approved uniforms and IDs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Engineering degree in telecommunications or equivalent.
- Advance Knowledge in Fixed Fibre Services (FTTX) desirable.
- Certification in MS Office tools like Power BI, Power Automate will be an add on.
- 5 years of relevant experience in service or telecommunication industry with strong background in fulfilment across mobility and fixed.
- Track record in managing vendors of diverse backgrounds.
- Results Oriented with ability to create training material and troubleshooting guides.
- Experience in MS Office tools like Power BI, Power Automate.
- Excellent communication skills in English/Arabic (both verbal & written).
