Extensive background as a Firearms Instructor/training
Manual dexterity to handle small tools and parts
Superior knowledge of the physical workings of a firearm
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual or multilingual a plus
Demonstrate adequate personal skill with all commonly associated firing range exercises and/or drills
Licenses and Certifications:
Eligible for POST Certification where applicable
Certified Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor, Military Firearms Instructor or NRA Law Enforcement Instructor.

While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is regularly required to dynamically run, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, go prone and bend.
The employee is required to use fingers and hands to shoot various firearms.
The employee is regularly required to lift to 40 pounds and with the assistance of another person, weights over 40 lbs.
The noise level in the work environment ranges from moderately quiet to extremely loud.
Personal safety protective equipment is required.
The individual must be able to pass a shooting proficiency qualification test with the equipment provided at the time of the interview and annually.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud.
Hearing protection and eye protection are required for all firing range activities.
