Responsibilities
- Monitor hot work operations to ensure fire safety requirements are followed
- Inspect work areas before, during, and after hot work activities
- Identify and eliminate potential fire hazards
- Maintain continuous surveillance of the work area during hot work
- Keep firefighting equipment readily available and in good condition
- Sound alarms and initiate emergency response procedures if needed
- Complete fire watch logs, permits, and inspection records

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor hot work operations to ensure fire safety requirements are followed
- Inspect work areas before, during, and after hot work activities
- Identify and eliminate potential fire hazards such as flammable materials and combustible gases
- Maintain continuous surveillance of the work area during hot work
- Keep firefighting equipment readily available and ensure it is in good condition
- Sound alarms and initiate emergency response procedures if a fire or unsafe condition is detected
- Ensure escape routes and emergency access points remain clear
- Communicate with supervisors, welders, and safety personnel regarding safety concerns
- Complete fire watch logs, permits, and inspection records as required
- Remain on duty for the designated fire watch period after hot work is completed
Pay
- AED 1,800.00 AED 2,000.00 per month
