Responsibilities
- Monitor designated areas during hot work activities such as welding, cutting, grinding, and maintenance work
- Identify potential fire hazards and take preventive measures
- Conduct routine inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with fire safety standards
- Maintain continuous surveillance of areas where fire risks are present
- Ensure fire extinguishers and emergency equipment are available and operational
- Report unsafe conditions, hazards, and incidents to supervisors immediately
- Assist in implementing health, safety, and fire prevention procedures
- Support emergency evacuation and incident response activities when required
- Maintain accurate fire watch logs, reports, and inspection records
- Ensure compliance with healthcare facility safety regulations and HSE standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in Fire Watch, Fire Safety, HSE, or Occupational Safety preferred
- Knowledge of fire prevention procedures and emergency response protocols
- Familiarity with hot work permits and safety requirements
- Strong observation and hazard identification skills
- Good communication and reporting abilities
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and emergency schedules
- UAE experience in healthcare, construction, industrial, or facility management sectors preferred

Job Overview
