Job Summary

  • IIQAF Group is looking for a passionate, skilled, and experienced Chef / Cook to join our hospitality team in Dubai.
  • The successful candidate will prepare high quality meals, maintain exceptional food presentation, ensure food safety compliance, manage kitchen operations, and deliver an outstanding dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present high quality meals according to standardized recipes and menu specifications.
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, portion control, and presentation.
  • Assist in planning menus and developing seasonal and specialty dishes.
  • Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, marinating, measuring, and organizing food items.
  • Monitor food preparation and cooking times to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Follow food safety, HACCP, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory control and ordering supplies.
  • Minimize food waste through proper storage, stock rotation, and portion management.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance issues when required.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, Commis Chef, Line Cook, Demi Chef de Partie, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, Hotel Cook, Restaurant Cook, Catering Cook, or Kitchen Assistant is preferred.
  • Experience in hotels, restaurants, resorts, catering companies, cafés, or hospitality establishments is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of international cuisine, food preparation techniques, and culinary standards.
  • Thorough understanding of HACCP, food safety regulations, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
  • Passion for delivering high quality food and exceptional guest experiences.
