The Fire Fighting Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of fire fighting systems, including sprinklers, fire pumps, hydrants, hose reels, and suppression systems in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities.
Responsibilities
- **Sprinkler System Maintenance & Testing**
- — Perform routine inspection, functional testing, and preventive maintenance of automatic sprinkler systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
- **Fire Extinguisher Inspection & Testing**
- — Conduct visual checks, pressure verification, refilling, and operational testing of all types of fire extinguishers as per regulatory requirements.
- **Fire Hose Reel & Hydrant System Maintenance**
- — Inspect, test, and maintain hose reels, landing valves, hydrants, and associated piping to ensure readiness during emergencies.
- **Fire Pump (Jocky, Electrical & Diesel) Testing & Maintenance**
- — Carry out regular testing, performance checks, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of all fire pump sets to ensure reliable system pressure and automatic operation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years experience fire fighting system.
- Technical Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
