Job Objective
An ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Technician installs, maintains, and troubleshoots low-voltage systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, intercoms, and structured cabling.
He is responsible for testing, programming, and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Role Description
· Responsibility for installation, configuration and maintenance of ELV systems;
· Diagnosing malfunctions, repairing and testing faulty equipment and devices;
· Bench testing of new equipment and devices;
· On-Site technical support and problem-solving;
· Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
· Reading and interpreting technical drawings
· Ensuring all systems meet required standards and specifications
Qualifications
· A minimum of two to three years’ experience working in a similar environment and with experience in ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Networking).
· Technical qualifications or equivalent would be preferred.
