Financial Strategy
Review daily group financial performance and cash flow reports for each business and country.
Monitor all financial transactions for accuracy, authorization, and compliance.
Support the CFO with foreign exchange, credit, liquidity, and insurance risk management.
Provide financial input for expansion, fleet, facility investment, and mergers and acquisitions.
Budgeting and Financial Planning
- Lead the annual budgeting process across divisions with detailed variance analysis.
- Prepare five-year group balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare quarterly rolling forecasts and financial projections.
- Benchmark cost structures and margins for the fruit and vegetable category.
- Align cost assumptions with actual logistics and wastage levels.
- Recommend corrective actions to meet financial targets.
Accounting and Reporting
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and treasury functions.
- Ensure month-end closure within four working days and validate profit and loss and balance sheet accuracy.
- Prepare group, country, division, item, and customer profit and loss reports.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, margin and wastage analysis, financial ratios, and trend dashboards.
- Consolidate the financial statements of subsidiaries.
Costing and Margin Analysis
- Perform costing and margin analysis for the fruit and vegetable category.
