Role Overview
The Assistant Operations Manager supports the Operations Manager in day-to-day fruits and vegetables cold-store warehouse operations.
The role covers receiving, put-away, storage, replenishment, picking, staging, and dispatch while maintaining quality, inventory accuracy, cold-chain requirements, FIFO/FEFO, and customer service levels.
Warehouse Operations
- Manage assigned shifts, operational zones, daily activities, workloads, and priorities.
- Oversee receiving, put-away, storage, replenishment, picking, staging, and dispatch.
- Ensure orders meet customer and dispatch cut-off times.
- Inspect warehouse floors, maintain discipline and housekeeping, and resolve bottlenecks.
