Role Overview
The Financial Analyst is responsible for budgeting, planning, analysis, financial controls, and business partnering.
The role supports management decision-making through forecasts, dashboards, models, reporting, and investor information.
Responsibilities
- Prepare annual budgets using zero-based and incremental budgeting techniques.
- Prepare business-unit budgets and forecasts and consolidate them into the overall budget and forecast.
- Monitor financial performance against budgeted figures and industry averages.
- Prepare management-requested analyses, scenarios, documentation, dashboards, and presentations.
- Complete monthly reporting, dashboards, and analysis on deadline.
- Develop ad hoc financial models for business-unit decision-making.
- Prepare investor information packs and communicate with investors periodically.
- Monitor the manpower budget and liaise with HR on new hires.
- Support long-, medium-, and short-term planning with scenarios, presentations, and analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience is required.
- CPA, CMA, ACCA, or FMVA is listed as a qualification.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and Power Automate.
