Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, including VAT requirements
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Process payroll in compliance with UAE Labour Law and WPS
- Calculate salaries, overtime, deductions, and end of service benefits
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and assess performance
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for management
- Manage foreign remittance transactions
- Maintain accurate financial records and enter data into accounting software
Requirements
- CPA, ACCA pathway preferred
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho, QuickBooks, SAP)
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills

Job Summary
- As a Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the organization.
- Your expertise in finance, accounting principles, and tax regulations will be essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in accordance with IFRS standards.
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, including VAT (Federal Tax Authority – FTA) requirements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws.
- Process payroll in compliance with UAE Labour Law and WPS (Wage Protection System).
- Calculate salaries, overtime, deductions, and end of service benefits (EOSB).
- Ensure accurate payroll reporting and timely salary disbursement.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and assess financial performance.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for management.
- Provide financial advice and recommendations to management.
- Manage foreign remittance transactions, including currency exchange and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- CPA, ACCA pathway preferred
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
