Responsibilities
- Manage day to day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Oversee supplier payments, banking transactions, reconciliations, and cash management
- Support month end and year end close activities including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and audit preparation
- Prepare financial reports, monitor budgets, analyze variances, and provide insights
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax requirements
- Process purchase orders, manage intercompany transactions, and maintain accurate financial records in ERP and CRM systems
- Act as primary point of contact for finance related queries
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and enhance operational efficiency
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Good understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax requirements
- Experience using ERP systems and CRM platforms to support finance processes
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience in the education industry
- Available to start within 1 month
