Company Description

  • Accor is a global leader in hospitality, committed to excellence, integrity, and strong governance.
  • The role will strategically manage and oversee all corporate finance functions in KSA, focusing on in house taxation, operational finance oversight, and financial system transformation.

Taxation Management

  • Lead and manage in house preparation, review, and timely submission of all corporate tax filings including WHT, CIT, and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with external audit firms on tax related matters and support tax audits.
  • Conduct regular reviews of tax exposure and identify opportunities for tax optimization and compliance improvement.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls for accurate tax accounting and reporting.
  • From Year 2 onwards: take ownership of VAT return preparation and submission.

Financial Statement Preparation & Audit Support

  • Participate in preparation and review of corporate financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Serve as key point of contact for external auditors during year end audits.
  • Ensure timely resolution of audit queries and implementation of auditor recommendations.

Operational Finance Hotel Performance Review & Support

  • Conduct regular hotel visits to review financial performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Monitor KPIs and work with hotel teams to develop improvement strategies.
  • Provide guidance to hotel finance teams on accounting policies and best practices.

Financial System Transformation & Process Improvement

  • Act as primary champion for financial system transformation initiatives.
  • Lead or support deployment of new financial systems at hotel and corporate levels.
  • Review and optimize financial processes such as credit card reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.

Internal Control & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Identify control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (required).
  • Valid SOCPA registration.
  • Minimum 2 years of hotel finance experience, preferably in a Financial Accountant role.
  • Strong understanding of hotel finance operations and accounting processes.
  • Knowledge of Saudi tax regulations including VAT, WHT, Transfer Pricing, and ZATCA compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems such as Oracle and SunSystems.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
