About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily operations of the finance department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and billing
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Prepare financial statements and reports, including monthly and annual accounts
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting
- Oversee cash flow management and ensure optimal liquidity
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, including VAT filings and KYC laws
- Coordinate and oversee audits and financial reviews
- Manage relationships with banking partners and handle banking facilities
Requirements
- Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounts or related field (MBA preferred)
- Recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA) preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience as Finance Manager or similar role in financial planning and analysis
- Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong command of accounting principles, financial regulations, and investment strategies
- Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Description
- Responsible for managing the financial health of the organization to promote success and growth while maintaining legal financial practices.
- Responsible for financial planning, reviewing financial documents for tax compliance, and collaborating with other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily operations of the finance department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and billing.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize resource allocation.
- Evaluate financial risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
- Oversee cash flow management, including petty cash operations.
- Prepare financial statements and reports, including monthly and annual accounts.
- Analyze financial statements, reports, operating metrics and data to identify trends and variances.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Co ordinate with various departments to understand their financial needs.
- Reconcile rental and miscellaneous receipts efficiently.
- Develop financial models and scenarios to support strategic decision making.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting.
Qualifications
- Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounts or related field preferably MBA.
- Recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA) is preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as Finance Manager or similar role in financial planning and analysis preferably in the healthcare industry, UAE.
Skills
- Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong command of accounting principles, financial regulations, and investment strategies.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong financial acumen with proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
