Financial Reporting and Close
- Lead the preparation, review, and submission of periodic financial statements.
- Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Govern closing, reconciliations, provisions, accruals, intercompany, and fixed-asset processes.
- Review and sign off key account reconciliations.
Balance Sheet and Controls
- Own balance sheet hygiene through reviews, ageing analysis, and timely resolution of open items.
- Use SAP for financial postings, reporting, analysis, and controls.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure remediation of audit observations.
- Drive simplification, standardization, and automation in reporting and control processes.
Stakeholder and Team Leadership
- Partner with Controllership, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, business partnering, and other stakeholders.
- Create or enhance Power BI dashboards and reports where applicable.
- Lead, coach, and develop a small team of finance professionals.
Experience and Qualifications
- A professional qualification such as CA, CMA, ACCA, or an MBA in Finance is preferred, or an equivalent finance qualification.
- Strong experience in financial reporting, controllership, or a related finance role is required.
- Experience in a large or multinational organization is ideal.
- Hands-on SAP FI/CO or equivalent-module experience is required.
- Power BI or similar visualization-tool exposure is advantageous.
- Experience managing or coaching team members is preferred.

- Strong technical understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting under local GAAP or IFRS.
- High attention to detail with a strong control and governance mindset.
- Ability to work with and interpret large data sets.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritize under tight month-end and year-end timelines.
Performance Measures
Performance is measured through timely and accurate financial statement submissions.
Measures include balance sheet quality, audit observations, process governance, stakeholder feedback, and team engagement.
